Developed from a set of figurines based on characters from my comic Sum of Parts. I translated the drawn marks within my concept sketches directly into this figure, to see how the fast pen work would read. The finished work is coil and press mould built, mid temp glazes with gold and platinum lustre.
The robot, Bok, was a character I made as a twelve-year-old, sneaking downstairs on the weekend mornings to create my own figures from milliput. Everything has grown from then.
