Up to The Outwoods...

Charnwood may have once meant Cairne Wudu, or cairne of the woods, the farm trail leading up is splashed with red mud. A boy once discovered a fossil leaf there and all the scientists agreed It was the oldest leaf, he named it Charnia. I dig up a small ball of the red mud, Work it, bake it and bring it back.
