Lewis

As a child I remember my Dad making a few ceramic figures based on the Lewis Chessmen. There was a King, a knight and his own design for the pawns. I was fascinated by them and they must have been a strong influence on my early figure making.

Dad told me he always wanted to complete the set - however never got the chance. This has sat with me for a long time as something I would like to do. This year he is 82, so I decided it was about time.

I'll post up photos after Christmas, I think Dad should get to see them first.
