Three Mariners.

These three figures are based on a set of medieval wood carvings from the V&A. The original set are blackened and worn with bare remnants of the carved features being visible through the texture of the wood grain, as though they had been retrieved from some shipwreck. I have enjoyed playing with texture on this set and am thinking they may be good to take down to the Thames for a photo shoot.
